Article name change?[edit]

Looks like either it should be called "Golfers with Champions Tour major championship wins" or remove the ones with fewer than 3 wins.--Berol (talk) 20:37, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's modeled after Golfers with most major championship wins and Golfers with most LPGA major championship wins which also list all winners. So if you change this one you should change the other two as well. Note that the details of which majors were won is not available for the ones with only a few wins. Changing all articles in some way sounds good to me. Another option is to separate the non-detailed part into a separate section.--66.122.76.165 (talk) 23:44, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Now details are only missing for those with 1 win, although that all was tangential to the OP's point. Changing one doesn't mean you have to change all 3 articles, either.--76.209.221.224 (talk) 22:06, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rename or apply criteria?[edit]

Following the above discussion from 13+ years ago, shall we:

  1. Rename this article to reflect that all major winners are listed (e.g. List of Champions Tour major championship winning golfers)
  2. Apply selection criteria and remove those below a certain threshold (3 seems to make sense)?

The similar (regular) "men's" article was moved. Thoughts please. wjematherplease leave a message... 10:57, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would have thought option 1 makes most sense. As you imply, there's really no sense in option 2 unless you're going for 3 or (probably) 4 or 5 as a minimum. Nigej (talk) 12:02, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
