What's the difference with "List of Columbia University alumni"

List of Columbia University alumni would seem to cover almost the same ground. Both are > 120,761 bytes with List of Columbia University alumni larger at 125,013 bytes, both with their specialities such as sections etc... Perhaps they should be merged? DadaNeem (talk) 00:18, 9 February 2018 (UTC)

One list was probably created by an editor who had no idea that the other existed. Yes, they should be merged. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:11, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
I tagged both pages to generate discussion of a proposed merger. I propose keeping this name, as it is linked to from articles related to Columbia University and its title is more inclusive, but I don't have strong feelings one way or the other. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:18, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
I've done one section as part of a test edit to determine the most efficient way of doing this; one section is therefore transcluded as an interim measure. It looks like List of Columbia University alumni and attendees was a 2013 split (or fork) from List of Columbia University people, which is also extant. Klbrain (talk) 07:01, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
