What is technically Gaulish[edit]

I would like to enter the following, but i don't know how broadly the term Gaulish reaches. Do town and welsh count, or should i put them aside under a separate by-heading? Or, this page could be named List of English words from Continental Celtic.

town
from Old English, from Proto-Germanic *tûnan, from Celtic *dūnom.
welsh, welch
from Old English Welisc "British, foreign", from Proto-Germanic *Walhiskaz, from a Celtic name witnessed in Latin as Volcae.
