Split[edit]

Support split - This page is now over 100 kB, and should be split to new articles such as Fast N' Loud (season 1), Fast N' Loud (season 2) and Fast N' Loud (season 3). Thoughts? --Jax 0677 (talk) 19:18, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Whoever split the article into the various season articles sure did a bad job at it. They couldn't even clean it up properly. Might want to rethink splitting article if one is unwilling to put in the work. Best to leave it be. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 23:14, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • More than have of them don’t have proper level headings. They should also provide info about the season with multiple reliable sources, not just the list of episodes from that season. You should look at examples of how other shows have their seasons vs. episode lists set up. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 02:22, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm requesting a reverse split to merge all the poorly put together episode lists by season into one page where it will flow better for readers regardless of page size. Individually, they offer little context and there was zero effort to improve the season lists. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 01:34, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose reverse split - I oppose the reverse split, as the combined file size is over 100 kB and growing rapidly. --Jax 0677 (talk) 01:38, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Except, it's not growing rapidly. It went up only 10K over the last couple of years. Some clean up of the formatting would reduce it a lot. There's no need to split unless you can do something like List of Grey's Anatomy episodes for a full list (~40K) and individual season summaries like Grey's Anatomy (season 13) (which that may even be a bit too large for you at 85K). StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 01:59, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Reply - Be bold. If the file size can be reduced, this should have been done by now. If an article is over 100 kB, it should probably be split, which no one opposed until months after it was split. --Jax 0677 (talk) 16:11, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
LOL. I know you hate to do any more work that you need to do, but if you split articles in the future, you should read WP:PROPERSPLIT. It's always better to be a productive member of this encyclopedia, but for some reason you expect others to do more work than you are willing to do yourself. • This proposal has become muddled. But I support eliminating the "season" articles", and merging them to a 'List of episodes' article. There is definitely not enough content to support individual "season" articles. I'd rather have a "long" LoE article, than a bunch of "season" articles that don't meet notability. --IJBall (contribstalk) 13:45, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
