Rename?[edit]

the article must be renamed to German inventions. i clicked on most of the articles, and around 80% of them were invented by germans, not french (according to the wikipedia articles) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.60.72.91 (talk) 22:20, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It seems wikipedia has an agenda. or atleast editors with an agenda. Its ridiculous that Germany is one of the top 3 nations with the highest invention output since the 1400s, and yet on the German discovery page there is barely any of those inventions on there. Yet both the French & English pages literally go on for miles, and the ridiculous thing about it. So many of the inventions on this French page are actually German. Wikipedia once again proving that its uncredible.

Don't make me laugh! Agenda? the only people who have an agenda are Nordicist German like you. FYI, half the German inventions aren't even German, they were mostly invented by the same Jews you guys called inferior and forced out of the country. Germans didn't even have the first car, that was French. You just developed the first modern one, and even that was claimed to be stolen from a Jewish scientist.

If you think that the page about German inventions lacks something, what is stopping you or anybody else to improve it? Or to correct anything inaccurate on this page? Notice that I am the main contributor on both pages. And for your information, to talk about Germany as a nation since the 1400s, considering that Germany was founded in 1871, just makes you look... well, you know (and for the German-speaking world being more inventive than France before 1871, do you have any proof?). And for my information, can you name any precise invention on this page that is actually German? If you do, I will review it and if you are right, remove any inaccurate information. SI Brochure image[edit]

I removed the image of the SI brochure for the following reasons:

  • Use of the cover is in breach of Wikipedia:Non-free content policy as no mention is made of the SI in this article.
  • SI was a relaunch of the metric system made in 1960 and was an international effort in which British, rather than French scientists played a leading role.

World Wide Web[edit]

It could be argued that, having been invented in the CERN, the HTTP protocol and World Wide Web as a whole is a French invention as well. Let me know what you think -- TheSola10 (The Mailbox) 10:08, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
