Google Hardware - CR-48 Mario

Google is testing its Chrome OS (which, btw, doesn't seem to be listed anywhere in the article) and is giving away these notebooks. (see here http://www.google.com/chromeos/pilot-program-cr48.html). Even though these machines are not commercially available, they're still designed and distributed directly by Google. I'm thinking of adding it to the hardware list. any thoughts/objections? Google +1

Just wondering, but I saw a new product from Google called the "+1 Button". Is it of significance? 204.197.180.230 (talk) 23:19, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

File:Google products.png Nominated for speedy Deletion

An image used in this article, File:Google products.png, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Should Needlebase be added to the list?

Hey all, this is my first talk page post. On April 12, 2011, Google acquired ITA software, which runs a web scraper called Needlebase[1]. Under the specified criteria of "released or acquired by Google Inc", should this service be added to this list?

google advisor

Takeout

The page that we reach when we click the word "Takeout", listed as one of the Google services, is not a page about the Google service. I think there's a mistake with the link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.44.232.145 (talk) 20:15, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Google Experimental Search has been removed

It seems like Google removed that option since almost no one used it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.65.27.203 (talk) 12:37, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

New "candidates"

Motorola Mobility should probably add to the list. --Stryn (talk) 18:11, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Ok, it's added. Then Zagat and Frommers. --Stryn (talk) 17:15, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Unmentioned Products

  • Google Developers – There should be an article about this product.
  • Google Store is an online store for accessories having the logos of Google's products. I once saw a link for that on Google.com, for some reason I can't find it now. This site is owned by a company named "Brand Addition".
  • Other products which have an article, but not mentioned here: Google Storage, Google Ventures.

This article already mentions Google's mobile applications, but it could use some additional information from that page. --LyThienDao1984 (talk) 10:00, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Many Products Formerly Belonging To Google Have Been Reallocated With The Restructuring Of Google As A Subsidiary Of Alphabet

The list should be updated to reflect that, or perhaps the article title?

Archive searching

It's called News Archive Search -- I've made it part of the Google News article, and added it to the list. Mambo Jambo 14:18, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Absolute mess

The whole article is a MESS. Google docs, Google Slides, Google Sites, shouldn't be crammed into one spot. It's outdated. And the bloody thing should be more "Organized". I don't get why google translate needs to be translate tools, Even though "Type text or a website address or translate a document." Means that the feature not a product and if that thing on chrome is a "product" then why is the Chromecast feature a "product". - AlfosXD (talk) 16:21, 23 March 2018 (UTC)

Absolutely agree. This article is very messy and needs a major edit. -Wefk423 (talk) 15:56, 24 March 2018 (UTC)

My Maps discontinued?

The section Discontinued in 2013 includes the My Maps service. However, I recently used it and it seems to be still active and available. It doesn't seem to be linked anywhere from Google Maps, or at least I couldn't find it, but it definitely doesn't seem discontinued to me. What is the source for that, and for the supposed year in which it was discontinued? In fact, I could find a reference that as late as early 2016, Google recommended My Maps as an alternative to one of its other GIS services that was discontinued (Google Maps Engine). 212.23.229.98 (talk) 08:25, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Remove Google Tag Manager link?

It seems silly that the link to Google Tag Manager links to itself, since the wiki page for Google Tag Manager is a reference to this page. Maybe remove? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zilvador (talkcontribs) 07:52, June 16, 2021 (UTC)

Done - per WP:SELFRED, I have removed the link to Google Tag Manager (which appears to have been a standalone article before it was converted to a redirect because it did not satisfy WP:GNG). InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:35, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
Great. Thanks. However, a shame that the original article was removed. I found the information I was looking for in the edit history of the old page. Hopefully it will be remade some day :). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zilvador (talkcontribs) 10:50, June 17, 2021 (UTC)
