Source(s)?[edit]

While I may not be an expert on Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos/Great Old Ones, I am dubious about this list. Many names never appeared to my knowledge in Lovecraft's stories -- or the stories of his immediate circle. In fact, I'm dubious any of these creatures appeared in a published story, let alone one from a mainstream Mythos story. (Sheesh, I suspect some of these are creations that appear no where else than this list -- just a bunch of Cthulhucruft.) Can someone provide references to show where these names first appeared? And where the information about them came from? Otherwise, I'm tempted to taking a very large pair of pruning sheers to this list. -- llywrch (talk) 02:08, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure they need to be removed, as the list isn't claiming to be solely lovecraft's fiction, but I would definitely second the request to require sources for every entry on this list.Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 21:02, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
