Talk:List of Guggenheim Fellowships awarded in 1974

Most of the titles and affilliations listed were not current in 1974. Instead, they seem to be taken from much later dates. This is why several of the fellows are listed as deceased (who would give fellowship money to a dead person?) and why so few are listed with junior faculty positions, even though many Guggenheims go to scholars early in their careers.
