Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because it's a legitimate content split. It's also an (immediate) work in progress, several minutes old. --Brightgalrs (/braɪtˈɡæl.ərˌɛs/)[1] 20:53, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Representatives and Senators[edit]

I was astonished to see that the section listing endorsements from members of Congress had been removed (on September 5, 2017 at 01:44) with no apparent rationale. I have restored it today. By the way, I find no less strange the recent proposal to "speedily delete" this entire article. I have noticed no such deletion proposals on the Wikipedia campaign endorsement articles for the 2012 and 2008 US presidential elections. Drewkeeling (talk) 08:47, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Timing of endorsements[edit]

During the primaries, it was interesting to know who endorsed Clinton, who endorsed Sanders and who did not endorse either. However, once Clinton won the nomination, most if not all Sanders supporters and the undecided endorsed Clinton. By adding them without explanation of when they endorsed Clinton, this article looses its value and becomes just a list of prominent Democrats. Is there anyway to distinguish when these endorsements were made?

For example, Tulsi Gabbard is listed as endorsing Clinton. Yet she quit the DNC in order to endorse Sanders during the primaries.
