Merging Intel processor confusion into this[edit]

Should the Pentium D (and at least some of the Pentium EE) stuff from Intel processor confusion be moved into here? That'd mean adding additional columns for the fab technology, power, presence of EIST, presence of EM64T support, presence of XD bit, hyperthreading support, and virtualization (or perhaps with all the various technologies given as a list of items). One or two dies?[edit]

Somebody added the comment "All Presler models are based on a single chip package which contains 2 individual dies (1 per core) of silicon, to allow for increased yield." Is that true of all the Pentium D processors, i.e. they're two dies in a single package, rather than two cores on a single die as is the case with Intel Core, Intel Core 2, and their Xeon derivatives?   • The statement itself is correct as all Presler models are based on utilizing to Cedar Mill cores. It is not true with all Pentium D processors, because not all Pentium D models are based on Presler. Coldpower27 07:11, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No more Double Core Nonsense[edit]

As explained again, regardless of how it is implemented two cores on 1 package is Dual Core, the correct terminology to describe this is monolithic vs multi chip module. You obviously haven't learned this lesson yet user 151.202.72.24. Coldpower27 19:57, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actual Bus frequency[edit]

I think it should be noted that what this article states as FSB frequency is actually in mega-transfers or giga-transfers.
