Descriptions of Episodes[edit]

The descriptions for nearly every episode is copied directly from other places on the internet. I thought Wikipedia did not want copying and pasting; it could violate copyrights. No reference or citations are given for where they were taken from.Marvelousdaze06 (talk) 22:13, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the descriptions for season 5 episodes have capricious comma use that needs to be addressed by someone who can access the page. 99.2.75.186 (talk) 01:29, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

categorization[edit]

Because of repeated vandalisation, I've moved the category link Category:Lists of reality television series episodes to the top of the article. 76.66.201.179 (talk) 06:51, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

I attempted to insert a reference to the primary source, but it's been deleted, so this is unref'd. 76.66.201.179 (talk) 05:09, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect this in some way impacts with WP:BLP, because this TV series is a biographical TV series. 76.66.201.179 (talk) 05:11, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gosselin Epsiodes[edit]

It says on the main page of Jon & Kate Plus 8 that the episodes are half hour, except for specials and for that they're astericks telling you they're an hour. 70.24.233.37 (talk) 00:01, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:OBVIOUS - state your assumptions. The main article states nothing about 1-hour episodes, only 42 minute and 23 minute episodes. The list article uses different terminology, 1-hour (and does not state what the other format is). The assumption is that the other episodes are 1 half of an hour, but that is not necessarily the case, since it assumes the reader is familiar with North American broadcast defacto standards, and this is inherent bias. Your comment about watching it for 4 seasons is explicit bias against readership who do not watch the show. 76.66.201.179 (talk) 05:06, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you were to watch the episodes straight though, no commercials, then they would be 23/43 minutes, like all other shows on here, or hadn't you noticed? Why are you insisting on changing it when there's nothing wrong with the episodes are listed as they are? Ever hear of the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
Also there's an episode table listed above the episodes, in case you missed it. Btw, no idea of what you're trying to say, trying talking as if you're talking to me face to face and not a dictionary. 70.24.233.37 (talk) 09:32, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

The above was removed by an IP user using the reasoning they occur on the show's article, but they do not. 76.66.201.179 (talk) 08:42, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes[edit]

I've been waiting for answers about the episodes, but still haven't received them.

Why is it mentioned twice the length of the episodes, first on the main page and now above the episodes and the same goes for the episode table.

Why aren't the last two episodes of Season 4 switched around yet? I gave a link to TLC showing that "B-B & More" is now episode 40 and "Family Outing" is now episode 41.

Before last week, when this user butted in, I didn't have any trouble with the episodes, but because of him/her, I'm in trouble and now I cannot edit the episodes to add the first episode of Season 5, which is in a month's time.

As for Kate's real name, if it's "Katie", why is Maddy's middle name "Kate", where as Aaden's middle name is Johnathan? Make me wonder if Katie is just a nickname that her brother gave her. 19:11, 26 March 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.67.181.177 (talk)

no need to worry about adding the first episode of season 5 yet, as they have not yet decided if they are even going to have a fifth season, so you have a little bit of time anyways. Grande13 (talk) 19:43, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Season 5 is a go, I don't know why you think it's not. You only answered part of my questions. Why are the last two episodes of Season 4 still in the wrong order?

More proof in which order the last two episodes of Season 4 "Family Outing" #40 and "B-Ball & More" #41 are listed in the wrong order on this site:

Season 5[edit]

Season 5 starts May 25. We all hope that this season will last.

New Special[edit]

There's a new special that will air on the 19th. Could someone add alongside the specials already listed? http://tlc.discovery.com/tv-schedules/series.html?paid=2.15585.55956.35599.x&start=80 R7604 (talk) 21:23, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the special listed on Zap2it's listings, which says "new". http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tvlistings/ZCSGrid.do?stnNum=60734&channel=521 R7604 (talk) 21:29, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there a second table for specials, when there is already one there? Wouldn't it make more sense to group all the specials together? R7604 (talk) 00:01, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Title (Spacing)[edit]

Is there anyway to shrink down the space where episode titles go? Ever since both sets of episode numbers were moved to the left, there's a huge space where each episode title goes. R7604 (talk) 19:25, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 100[edit]

I think there is something wrong with the episode list. Episode 100 falls on the 96th episode of their series. 98.149.127.13 (talk) 19:50, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

they are counting the specials that they did before the season started that is how that episode is stated as the 100th episode. Thanks --M42380 (talk) 18:34, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Bikes & Trikes"[edit]

{{editsemiprotected}}

Please add to the episode description that the mirror episode on American Chopper was "Jon & Kate Plus 8 Bike"

Alaska, Here We Come! & Gosselins, Goblins and Ghouls[edit]

I'd like to point out these were specials, instead of regualar season episodes, and should be put with the rest of episodes.

I know that Gosselins, Goblins and Ghouls, was listed as the season 2 premiere, but that was a mistake on the part of TLC. If it were the season 2 premiere, where are the rest of the episodes. TV Guide even called this a special and not the season 2 premiere.

Alaska, Here We Come! aired too far apart from the last season one episode and on a different day, to be a regular episode. The season one episode aired on September 20, 2010 and Alaska aired on November 7, 2010. TLC normally doesn't space episodes so far apart, except for one season that was temporarily put on hold, over the Christmas holidays. GiantTiger001 (talk) 18:30, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

However, TLC is the one that listed it. By the way Bloggers website is not a libable website for the show listing. TLC is more of libable website. Alaska is part of the season one epsiode not special. Along with the Halloween espiode is part of the season 2 epsiode. TLC website is one of the show's libable sites. I am going to change it back.--M42380 (talk) 13:42, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
