Afghanistan is in the Middle East so it needs to be added Marga12345 (talk) 20:30, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to the list at Middle East Afghanistan isn't usually considered part of the Middle East. Can we have some more comments and try to reach agreement on removing it? --Boreas74 You'll catch more flies with honey 20:41, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lebanon is repeated[edit]

The country of Lebanon is listed twice. The current population is 4.224 million according to Wikipedia citing the UN. Looks like Libya should be in the higher slot but I don't know how to edit this table. 66.147.172.7 (talk) 21:30, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This table doesn't include Iraq[edit]

Needs to be fixed

Title[edit]

Hey, guys,

The article's title doesn't sound correct to me. It should be "List of Middle Eastern countries by population," not "List of Middle East countries by population." "Middle East" is a noun. "Middle Eastern" is an adjective and adjectives go before the nouns they describe (in this case, countries.)

Kurdistan[edit]

Kurdistan is listed as the third largest Middle Eastern country with a population of 47,505,000. But clicking on the Kurdistan link takes the user to Iraqi Kurdistan, which lists a population of 8,350,000. Iranian Kurdistan lists a population of 6,738,787. Kurds#Population estimates 26-34 million Kurds in the Middle East, but Kurdish population estimates 30-40 million, more in line with 47,505,000 (but no source is given). Apparently "Kurdistan" is being defined as a "dependent territory", although that should be plural rather than singular.

Kurdistan is not officially a country though. Wikileb123 (talk) 14:54, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Cyprus[edit]

Cyprus is in the Middle East and not listed in the table! Wikileb123 (talk) 14:55, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Eygpt[edit]

Egypt is not in middle East...just to correct you . Egypt is an African country. Ezekiel Fonyam (talk) 11:56, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

so is Palistine's population included in Israel's data?[edit]

It should be cleared, right? Is the Palestinian population being counted double (once in Israel and once in Palestine) ? 2804:14C:482:72FD:5837:4300:4F49:B461 (talk) 12:16, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
