Germany as Mi-8 operator[edit]

Hey fellow wikipedians! The German Bundeswehr/Luftwaffe adopted some of the Mi-8 from the former East German NVA and flew it until 1994 under Luftwaffe designation/with Bundeswehr markings as SAR helicopters. So the article is not complete yet. A couple of that Mi-8 with Bundeswehr markings are now displayed in museums.
