List of Negro league baseball players who played in Major League BaseballList of Negro league baseball players who played in the American or National League – This article is need of renaming because the Negro leagues are major leagues per Major League Baseball's own definition. However, I'm not sure if my proposed title is too cumbersome. I'm also not sure if this article needs to exist at all anymore. Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 00:14, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose, Major League Baseball may consider the Negro League a major league, but only the American and National League are actually parts of the structure of Major League Baseball. Esolo5002 (talk) 12:20, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move and snowclose. This move was requested under false pretenses. MLB does not consider the Negro Leagues as part of itself, only as equivalent major leagues. Separate but equal, if you will. O.N.R. (talk) 19:55, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose "Major League Baseball" consists of the NL & AL; "Major League Baseball" is a "major league" & the 7 major Negro leagues were "major leagues", but were never part of "Major League Baseball." MLB cannot just claim other major leagues as part of MLB, and they most certainly cannot claim that now all of a sudden the Negro leagues are major leagues -- they were major leagues all along.
