The consorts of the Ottoman Empire there were a lot of kinds of rankings like ikbal kadin hatun sultan kadinfendi baskadin baskaseki especially in the harem mostly were concubines then we’re giving the title consorts some sources say that the concubines who gave sons to the sultan were given the title sultan and some say that a liggle wife of the sultan was given the title kadin or the 17th the title sultan for women was demolished and kadinfendi was given to the consort queens and ikbal was given to the pregnant concubines or the favorite concubines of the sultan

Hurrem Sultan's nationality[edit]
