no tape products?[edit]

what is the purpose of not including tape devices?[edit]

The Walkman range was born with tape products and should include them. If it doesn't because they're antiquated, then it shouldn't include minidiscs or HD walkmen either, since both are obsolete technology, and at that point we might as well delete the whole page altogether. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.57.225.43 (talk) 11:37, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree - The list should include them.

The only edit summary when the bracketed (but does not..) even says "Seeing as most consider the 'Sony Walkman' as a device for cassette tapes"

On that basis, people are not including them, but one could simply edit the page, remove the brackets, and put cassette players/recorders in to it. Chaosdruid (talk) 19:36, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
