Neighborhood naming convention[edit]

In case anyone hadn't noticed, Wikipedia:Communities strawpoll is voting on a uniform naming convention for all neighborhoods of U.S. cities. The proposition currently leading by a wide margin would apparently entail renaming most New York City neighborhood articles to something like neighborhood, New York, New York. olderwiser 19:03, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So in the case of Staten Island, I am guessing it would be Grymes Hill, Staten Island, NY or Grymes Hill, Staten Island, New York City, NY ? Arnabdas 17:35, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Caliville?[edit]

I have never heard of a neighborhood on Staten Island called Caliville, so I have removed it. I have added Chelsea, which IS a neighborhood of Staten Island. 24.168.42.143 18:39, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

City Council Districts[edit]

Should we edit each neighborhood to show what city council district it falls in? Arnabdas 17:35, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Staten Island Map[edit]

This is a dead link now. This article really needs a good neighborhood map. Liz Read! Talk! 23:25, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
