I'm not sure that columns for writer and director are the most appropriate for this show. It has a core group of writers that do most shows and it may be the same for the director. Change the table if you have a better idea. Peregrinefisher 22:02, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thats why I changed it to "Credited Writers," because Stephen Colbert, Paul Dinello, and Amy Sedaris wrote most of the episodes themselves, and only occasionally did an outside writer contibute a script, and then they edited it heavily and used it only as a baseline. I say we put a little notice about that, but keep it the same as they would be the official writers of the episode, per Comedy Central. However, they do talk about having a specific director on the show for each commentary, as in "Who directed this one?" "Peter? Oh yeah, it was Peter (Lauer)."Sexyactionnick 20:19, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Production code[edit]

Can we get a citation up there, either in each page or on the main page, that proves that each episode was actually produced in the order it played and that those are the official production codes? Sexyactionnick 00:43, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Retardation: A Celebration"[edit]

Isn't the "unaired pilot" "Retardation: A Celebration" the same (or very similar to) the fourth episode "Who Wants Cake?"? Both entries use the exact same description (same wording in fact) about Jerri spying on her locker neighbor for signs of retardation. Lots of shows had pilots that were unaired that they later made an episode based on. So the original pilot was not aired but an episode that was almost the same story was, sometimes the first episode of the series. I don't know about this case but it seems reasonable that something like this would happen, in which case the pilot (as in what was shot) would still be unaired.
