Consideration for Deletion[edit]

For some reason, someone has suggested deleting this list. Does anyone have a good reason to do so, because I'm happy to keep the list as it is. ISD (talk) 19:06, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am that person. This is the page for discussion regarding the deletion of this page which includes my reasoning -

I agree that this page should be kept, and I also agree with Bilorv that this format is more suited to a Fandom Wikia, but I'm concerned that there wouldn't really be much else on such a Wiki, and making it would in itself be redundant... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 15schaa (talkcontribs) 14:57, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The issue is that it's not appropriate for Wikipedia, so there's nothing we can do here but remove it. The content is licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0 so do with it what you want (with attribution), but the content is currently housed at Taskmaster Wikia. I think there's scope for a bit more detail on the wiki than there would be on this page anyway–descriptions of panellists, lists of stats about the show etc. I'll try to work on it a bit more (next step is creating panellist articles with a free image, a couple of their major works and their results on Taskmaster). off wiki canvassing[edit]

Someone posted a link to this article from the taskmaster sub Reddit. I'd like to see the scores included here; we don't need viewership figures which are not I retesting to anyone; I agree the rest is probably cruft; but most importantly I thought you'd like to know that this edit discussion was linked to in a non neutral way off site. Finally, fuck Wikipedia. 79.77.213.124 (talk) 12:37, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

(For reference, the Reddit post is here.) Hi, and thanks for discussing this. We probably could cut down some of the viewership data, and perhaps including a row for the winners of each episode would be good. The rest is definitely cruft, though. We don't choose whether to include or remove information based on whether it's interesting—otherwise I'd be fighting to keep both the episode breakdowns and the viewing figures (which personally interest me)—but based on whether they have been discussed in secondary sources. (Side note: perhaps some of the viewing figures could be presented using {{Television ratings graph}}.) Bilorv(c)(talk) 12:52, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Protected edit request on 21 October 2018[edit]

I cannot agree with the removal of scores from the article; they are not quite trivial enough to qualify as cruft in my opinion, and the lists of other panel show episodes (HIGNFY WILTY QI) include them. I am requesting that these be retrieved from the history. Launchballer 21:01, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Those examples don't include scores for each round. Already discussed above. You can find the information you want at Wikia. Matt14451 (talk) 21:04, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but those examples do include scores for each episode, which should be included here.--Launchballer 21:22, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The problem is that there are five scores so we'd have to add five extra headings. I'd be happy if the winner of each episode was included (in this way it's similar to the QI page). But note that for protected edit requests, consensus needs to be established before making the request. Bilorv(c)(talk) 21:49, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit protected}} template. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:32, 22 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Series 15 episode titles[edit]

I was just wondering if there was a source for the episode titles for the 15th series, as I've not seen a source for these myself. Thanks. ISD (talk) 06:41, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
