Jamie Campbell[edit]

When linking to this Jamie Campbell, its about another Jamie Campbell, so I took off the link.

Brian Williams[edit]

There is some dispute over the year Brian Williams started calling Blue Jays games. This is an excerpt from Williams’ bio on page 280 of the 1995 Blue Jays media guide:

BRIAN WILLIAMS
Play-by-play Announcer (CBC Network)
Will call all the action on CBC broadcasts of 1995 Toronto Blue Jays games…1993 marked his first season as a regular Blue Jays broadcaster…He is best known as the host of CBC SPORTS WEEKEND, a weekly sports program that covers a variety of sports from Formula 1 Auto Racing and World Cup skiing to curling and horse racing.

As noted above, Williams started as CBC's play-by-play announcer for Blue Jays games in 1993, not 1995. I also distinctly remember Williams calling Blue Jays games in 1993 and 1994. Please stop changing this. WAMCO1993 (talk) 17:42, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling of Fergie Olver[edit]

The proper spelling of the surname is Olver, not Oliver. In addition to the media guide citation beside his name, his IMDb profile[1] and a Toronto Sun article from 2006[2] also prove this.

For years I thought the spelling was Oliver, despite the fact that I saw him on TV regularly when he was covering the Blue Jays. His name, however, is spelled Olver.WAMCO1993 (talk) 00:16, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
