In regard to the recent edits by 147.240.236.8, It is not so much that the information is incorrect. In fact you are correct, and those are the designations for these ships. However this list page uses these links as redirects. Hence USS Galveston is a page to distinguish all the ships with this name. like (USS Galveston (C-17) and USS Galveston (CLG-3)). But when there exists only one ship with a particular name, for example USS Guest (DD-472), you will find that the link USS Guest redirects to that page.
