Wikify[edit]

Probably schools, universities and locations should be wikified so that they are clickable?Divide et Impera (talk) 19:26, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

They were. Unfortunately when I updated the rankings, I lost the links in the table conversion process. Doing it manually for that many schools for me is way too time-consuming. If someone's willing to donate their time and/or suggest an automated method...--Dali-Llama (talk) 23:33, 8 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am going to undo all the changes if they are not wikified within a few days.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:50, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's just silly and rash. The rankings were completely outdated. As I've stated, by updating the rankings in an offline editor and then re-converting to Wikitable format, I unwittingly removed the wikilinks and I made a choice to prioritize updated rankings over convenient links. I asked that someone else contribute with either wikilinking the schools manually or suggest a way to do it automatically. So what do you think is more important for an article about rankings? Convenience in links or the updated data on the actual articles' subject matter (some of which was over 3 years old)? And by the way, nothing's stopping you from adding in the links themselves as opposed to reverting me.--Dali-Llama (talk) 10:38, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I did about 22 find replaces in notepad and it seems to be O.K. I did not check for any dabs needing restoring.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 12:49, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the format of the location to "State, City" so that they could be alphabetized by state for easier searching. However, I will re-wikify them within a few days. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.196.157.102 (talk) 16:03, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rankings Need to Be Updated...[edit]

Neutrality Issue[edit]

The rankings table was created out of alphabetical order as to imply one magazine's ranking is somehow intrinsically superior to another magazine's ranking. I'm going to add the neutrality tag momentarily.--TDJankins (talk) 06:24, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Additional rankings[edit]

I think it makes sense to add the following two rankings: Eduniversal Ranking as well as Better World MBA Ranking. 90.184.23.200 (talk) 17:00, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rankings need to be updated (again)[edit]

US News & World report just updated their rankings with "2017" version: http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-business-schools/mba-rankings

The table in the article is missing both the 2016 version and this new 2017 version.

Article tags[edit]

Hello everyone,

As I'm just passing through here: has anyone recently tried to improve the article to a level, that would justify removing the tags at the beginning? They're quite old and maybe can be removed by now?

Thanks, --RuhriJörg 13:27, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

After (re-)reading the talk page I saw that the neutrality tag was added, because the rankings in the table weren't alphabetically sorted. I did that - and thus removed the tag.
Also added the first 2018 ranking and began updating with the new numbers... as I have somewhat lost my enthusiasm for tables and charts at the moment, someone else may feel very free to continue what I :started... hope these are already valuable additions!

History section[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I started a new section about the history of rankings. So far this seems to be lacking and will provide additional important context for visitors of this article (imo). The section need additions and focus on business school rankings... maybe I'll get to it later ;) Otherwise feel free to chip in...

(Up) dates & simplifying the table[edit]

Hi all, Was just wondering about the (most recent) updates. How long do you think we should back-date the table? Currently there's still rankings from 2015 in the table and I feel like both the history as well as the most up-to-date rankings might be of interest for people - but maybe not in the same table (as it's begining to be a bit chaotic)? Also we should maybe try to find a more systematized way - which rankings from which year get represented (3x2019, 0x2018,1x2017, 2x2016,3x2015 - why choose these?). If you have any thoughts... --RuhriJörg 10:36, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
