Notes[edit]

This page is almost 15 years out of date since it is based on 2000 Census data. The most up to date indicator of median income can be found here: http://www.huduser.org/portal/datasets/il.html

The article states "They are listed below in descending order by median household income." When in fact they are listed by per capita income, which is quite different.

What year is the first table?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.115.41.2 (talk) 19:19, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Minneapolis St Paul is missing from the first table, and it should likely be number 19. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.128.167.68 (talk) 20:08, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the last edit was vandalism, since it only removed Minneapolis/St. Paul. I reverted to the previous version. Detgfrsh (talk) 02:51, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How does this not have Chicago in the list? Emathias (talk) 17:37, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a tag for marking an article in need of an update? It's missing Chicago and probably a couple others. Agassiz830 (talk) 17:24, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah the exclusion of Chicago is glaring at that it's been like that for years now is concerning. Going to flag it and think about how this page can be made useful (or if it's something that's covered better on a different article, which can often be the case with these lists) Qtz arenite (talk) 17:00, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Figures are from the United States Census, 2013"[edit]

What is the source of this data? There was no Census in 2013. There was an American Community Survey in 2013, and every year. This survey appears to contain estimates. Ponydepression (talk) 17:49, 16 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
