List is incomplete[edit]

There were a total of seven F4 tornadoes in 1950 (the year the official records began) and the months of June through December are missing. The following areas were hit by F4 tornadoes.

1. Shreveport, Louisiana on February 12
2. Holdenville, Oklahoma on April 28
3. Clyde, Texas on April 28
4. Great Bend, Kansas on May 4
5. McPherson, Kansas on June 8
6. Rhinelander, Wisconsin on June 25
7. Tekamah, Nebraska on July 15
