This page should be merged with 'List of games that use the Classic Controller'[edit]

It would make alot more sense to merge this Gamecube controller wiki page with the classic controller page, over here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_games_that_use_the_Classic_Controller

Because there are games that should appear on both, but probably don't because it would've taken double the time to update both. Instead, since most of the information in the tables is identical, we could just have two columns for each game, once for Gamecube controller, and one for classic controller.

I agree here. None of these games are available in the United States, as provided. I believe there are some Wii games that use the Gamecube controller in the United States. I cannot name any at current time, but I will start working on it. Uncertianperson (talk) 21:06, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Classic controller support[edit]

I am planning adding a red/green column regarding Classic controller support? If anyone is against this, please tell me I am working on it in my userspace (User:Thegreyanomaly/List of Wii games that use the Nintendo GameCube controller), so most of it won't be shown on this page until it is done. Page moving[edit]

This page was moved to include Wii U in the title. As it stands, only one Wii U game actually will use the GameCube controller. As a result, moving the page is jumping the gun and violates WP:Crystal by assuming that Wii U games other than SSB4 will use it. I undid the move, please don't repeat the move. That is not a reliable source. That is a promotional source Wikipedia:Identifying_reliable_sources#Questionable_and_self-published_sources and thus is not reliable. Please leave the page be until actual titles supporting the control are revealed. If you re-move the page without evidence, I will move it back and report you to an admin. I have initiated a discussion people will actually see at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#Question_about_what_is_a_reliable_source_for_video_game_articles.
