People on this list must be notable, see specifically WP:LISTBIO. Please don't add people who do not have a Wikipedia article. If the person is notable, but doesn't have a wikipedia article, then write the article for that person, so that their place on the list is justified. How do we know these people are xhosa?[edit]

I think we need to start requiring a source. There is no indication in the most recently added article Lundi Xhongo that the person is xhosa. --valereee (talk) 16:09, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Situle, as one of the main recent editors of this article, you probably know the subject matter best. Perhaps you can find references for this information? I am going to start going through and looking at articles to see if they even mention being Xhosa. If they don't, I think we need to remove them. People might be unhappy to be identified as being something they're not. --valereee (talk) 16:27, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've gone through the religious leaders section and removed any whose articles give no indication they are xhosa. Will work on others as I have time. --valereee (talk) 16:42, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
