Merger?[edit]

The entry for Eastern Airlines states "1991 -ceased operation while in bankruptcy." Why is that grouped toether with mergers? Why isn't that listed among airlines that failed? This is very sloppy...no, not sloppy, incorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.69.203.224 (talk) 01:57, 5 May 2010 (UTC) The entry for Canadian airlines is not correct. Pacific Western Purchsed CP Air. CP Air has previously purchsed Eastern Provincial and Nordair. Once Canadian was established Canadian purchsed Wardair then Canadian was aquired by Air Canada. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.126.89.199 (talk) 22:33, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chart tries to be correct but is not[edit]

This guide needs works... It is the parent companies many times doing the acquiring and merging. Example AMR Corporation bought and merged TWA into American Airlines.

United Continental Holdings merged United and Continental. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.183.190.40 (talk) 10:51, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
