ADV Films[edit]

I want to keep the status of ADV Films unchanged for now simply because I'm not sure how to adequately explain that it really sort of just "transitioned" into being "Section23 Films" (for all practical concerns); at least, without violating NPOV rules. More importantly, since September 1st none of the ADV *or* Section 23 people have appeared at any anime conventions to make some sort of public statement explaining exactly what's going on (and what the heck the relationship between Sentai Films and Section 23 is) ; so I want to adopt a "wait and see" approach, as the "Fall con season" is approaching (the ADV people like to go to minor conventions in the midwest i.e. Nebraskon, Sogen Con, and make big announcements from these minor cons which are smaller and thus more "controllable"; they'd get mobbed at a bigger national con). Central Park Media[edit]

Just a few corrections here. This is written about them "de facto defunct since mid-2006 when plans to eventually declare bankruptcy were announced and new releases ceased, " however they continued to release DVDs until around summer 2007, and they still licensed anime for TV and VOD until their bankrupty, so I don't think this is correct. They were also putting out manga in 2007. Also they never announced plans for bankrupty back in 2006, acurding to John O'Donnell that was a mistake, someone confused the Musicland bankrupty with CPM for some reason. So I changed the mistakes.

When did TokyoPop go broke?[edit]

Merger proposal[edit]
