WP:PROD[edit]

I removed the PROD because according to the history page of the Ho Yeow Sun's article, this page was created to manage the bloat from that page (namely this list) and separate it out as a page on its own. With regards to the subject's lack of notability, it is also true that there are other (subjectively) less notable lists on wikipedia as well that survive. Notability aside, I'm not for or against the deletion of this page per se, but just want to point out that this page was created as an attempt to address a problem, and deleting this page may lead to it being move back to the subject's page, which leads us back to square one. On a side note, I see people the awards section that links to this article in anticipation of the results of PROD. Lets discuss. Zhanzhao (talk) 06:41, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Then let's do things properly, delete this article because of a lack of notability and make sure the other article does not become bloated. I'm sure both can be done reasonably easily. Spacecowboy420 (talk) 09:05, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Any way we can do this while retaining some form of "history" of this page? Else some time later I'm afraid someone's bound to re-create this page to re-address the "bloat" of the other article. Zhanzhao (talk) 07:07, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure, but aren't people blocked from re-creating deleted articles? I might be 100% wrong about that...but I'm sure I read something like that somewhere... Spacecowboy420 (talk) 12:59, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Think it works only when the exact article name is reused. So for example if someone recreated with a slight change "List of awards received by Sun Ho", it will still go through. Zhanzhao (talk) 08:05, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
