I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of best-selling albums by country's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "chilecert":

  • From List of best-selling albums in Chile: "Luis Miguel en Chile". La Nación (in Spanish). 20 November 1999. Archived from the original on 27 October 2019. Retrieved 27 October 2019.
  • From Romances (Luis Miguel album): "Alcanza Luis Miguel récord de ventas en Chile con disco "Cómplices". W Radio. 19 May 2008. Archived from the original on 14 May 2019. Retrieved 26 October 2019.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 08:03, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Size[edit]

I think we should trim the list, as more countries are being added or expanded. My suggestion is having the list similar to List of best-selling singles by country in how it has presented countries such as United States or Mexico without their tables because they already have stand alone articles. Opinions? Ping active users Dhoffryn and Markus WikiEditor. Thanks, --Apoxyomenus (talk) 07:20, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Apoxyomenus: I agree. The size is already big, 225,859 (in bytes). Leaving only countries on the page that don't have their own best-selling albums page seems to be the solution.--Markus WikiEditor (talk) 15:45, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
