Inclusion into this list[edit]

Wikipedia has a criteria called "notability" which is used to decide whether a subject merits its own Wikipedia article. See WP:NOTABILITY for more information. It would be preferable that all entries into this list meet notability criteria and have their own Wikipedia article. Entries from main article[edit]

Here is some text I removed from the main article. Perhaps these should go into this list.

Howard University's National Human Genome Center announced plans to develop a biobank over the African diaspora.^[1]

The Genetic Alliance BioBank provides a shared infrastructure for disease advocacy organizations to manage both biological samples and clinical information.
The Canadian Biosample Repository in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada [1] offers biobanking services to the Canadian research community
The Gene Logic BioBank offers BioBanking services to the global community. This biobank comes with an integrated HIPAA compliant LIMS system and has liquid nitrogen storage.

Other biobanks[edit]

There are other biobanks such as the Mayo Clinic Biobank. Perhaps criteria for biobank inclusion should be created.Smallman12q (talk) 01:41, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
