POV tag[edit]

This is a list of anti-nuclear books. It needs to be either supplemented with books with a different point of view or removed.

I'm removing the POV tag. Many anti-nuclear books are not included here, eg. Nuclear Power is Not the Answer by Helen Caldicott, and there are some pro-nuclear books already included here, eg. Power to Save the World: The Truth About Nuclear Energy. Ideally what we want are the most notable books, see Wikipedia:Notability (books). So feel free to add to the mix any notable books that you think are missing. Johnfos (talk) 23:47, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The presence of one pro-nuclear book and the lack of other anti-nuclear books does not make it a useful neutral list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.247.142.96 (talk) 02:12, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed with Johnfos. A list of books on nuclear issues is inherently NPOV. The books exist, and they are about nuclear issues. That's the name of the article, and the books' fitnesses are self-authenticating. If there's a huge swath of pro-nuclear books that have been ignored, then the people who want to see them here should put them here. It's a simple problem to solve.
Two signed-in editors disagree with an unsigned editor with no track record. I've reverted the revert to Johnfos revert. Twang (talk) 19:15, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should Add[edit]

The Nuclear War File 1983. Nuclear Warfare and the Balance of Power. After I returned to the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Europe from the Iran Iraq Wars, I went to the On Base Book and Magazine Store, Stars and Stripes, and browsed around, I glanced thru "The Nuclear War File" and was completely surprised that this was allowed to be printed and published. In 1983 The Able Archer Incident that almost caused Thermo Nuclear World War 3 occurred.

A TV Episode that should have become a Book, and listed here, is the Nova Episode The Nuclear Option Season 44 Episode 2. As the History of Nuclear Power Reactors, fear of Nuclear Power, Current Nuclear Power Reactors, History of Political Resistance to replace the current obsolete dangerous water cooled U.S. Nuclear Reactors built Worldwide with Safer Liquid Metal Cooled Nuclear Reactors (that would have stopped the Fukushima Disaster from happening). Multi $Billionaire William Gate's Nuclear Reactor Corporation, building a State of the Art Safer Nuclear Reactor at China due to Restrictive U.S. Policies. "nuclear issues"?[edit]

Badly defined. Should probably split into nuclear power and nuclear weapons. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.226.49.229 (talk) 10:46, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
