There is a secret society called The Secret Society of Jargon

Can't be much of a secret if you know about it. 148.64.28.61 (talk) 12:47, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Verbs, Adjectives[edit]

how exactly is "baked in" or "collaborative" a verb? might someone care to either merge them under one heading or sort them correctly? -- 213.150.24.148 (talk) 12:17, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger[edit]

I think Corporate jargon refers mainly to unexplained abbreviations while Corporatese means replacing a short, clear, phrase with a long and obscure one. I don't think a merger is appropriate. Biscuittin (talk) 21:36, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question of taste[edit]

several of the verb phrases (at least) I think are in bad taste:

  • Eating one's own dog food: Use the same product that is sold to your customers, especially if it's a bad product
  • Drink the Kool Aid (from the Jonestown Massacre): Believe and live or die together
  • Flogging a dead horse: Wasting efforts[1]
  • One legged man in an ass kicking contest: Working towards an unachievable goal[1]
  • Open the kimono: Reveal information
