Walter Watson[edit]

  • Name: Walter Watson
  • Born: 1910
  • Nationality: USA
  • Job: Doctor

•Oldest practicing doctor
•2nd oldest all time (behind Leila Denmark) --Nick Ornstein (talk) 02:29, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If he's not notable for anything except being the oldest practising doctor then he doesn't meet the criteria for inclusion. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 04:33, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please add Colette Brull-Ulmann, a French physician, pediatrician, and Resistance fighter? She was born in 1920 and she died at 101 in 2021. I even included a cite for her.[1] 24.45.6.110 (talk) 01:34, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not notable as a medical professional. Might just be notable as resistance fighter, but may not meet cirteria for inclusion as no-one decided she was notable in any way until she was in her late 90s. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 03:56, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
She really is a medical professional. The reasons are physician and pediatrician. 13:36, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

Colette Brull-Ulmann really is a medical professional besides being a resistance fighter. The reasons are physician and pediatrician. 24.45.6.110 (talk) 02:30, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: I have to agree with DerbyCountyinNZ here. This article, at the top, clearly states it is for "people who became famous as medical professionals." Colette Brull-Ulmann was a medical professional, but she became famous for her actions during the French resistance. Living Concrete (talk) 05:09, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you're to add Colette Brull-Ulmann, google up her Google Knowledge Graph, and on the bottom of the images say, physician. Just also look back at these 2 cites. Val-de-Marne: at 101 years old, the resistant Colette Brull-Ulmann died Colette Brull-Ulmann who saved over 100 Jewish children during WWII passed away Her last name is Brull-Ulmann. 24.45.4.86 (talk) 13:51, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree Colette Brull-Ulmann should be on the List of centenarians (medical professionals) page because she worked at the Rothschild Hospital as a medical intern during World War II and was a medical student, physician and pediatrician, besides being a resistance fighter. She was a pediatrician in Noisy-le-Sec. 24.45.7.178 (talk) 20:15, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I may not know how to establish a consensus but please she really is a physician and pediatrician and that she deserves to be on the List of centenarians (medical professionals). 24.45.0.193 (talk) 14:41, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

She is not notable as either. Stop wasting peoples time with these pointless requests. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 00:07, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article should be using the {{Age nts}} template[edit]

This article hard codes the ages of living centenarians. Using {{Age nts}} will make this dynamic. There is a caveat; for the sort to work properly, for living people one must use the single date form that displays a value of current date minus birth date that displays the current age in years, and for deceased subjects the double date form that displays a value in years of death date minus birth date. Here is the syntax:

  • {{Age nts|year|month|day}} for living people (using only birth date)
  • {{Age nts|year|month|day|year2|month2|day2}} for people who have died, using birth date then death date
