Article clean-up (2016)[edit]

User:Magioladitis, can you please explain why you reverted the changes I made to this wiki? Two Canadian companies were found to no longer exist. Using 'is' over 'was' implies that these companies are still operational.

Also, the addition of nuclear company "Frontier Technology Corporation" was a valid and relevant one, being that they're one of very few (if not the only) companies in America that produce Cf-252 neutron sources and rods for nuclear reactor start-up. I'm curious why this has been removed from the table of companies in the nuclear sector, especially when companies like American Atomics, Inc. also manufacture nuclear reactor equipment but are almost non-existent on the web -- to the point where their general validity can be questioned.

I had planned on continually updating this article. I would greatly appreciate your explanations so I know how to proceed.

Thank you!

OTRS discussionn[edit]

im fairly sure ill get permission to use the content, please hold one a bit... -- eiland (talk) 16:13, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, the coordinator of Banktrack told me that its okay to use the text from http://banktrack.org/download/profundo_research_on_nuclear_banks: "yes you can use this text as it is a free to use text" I forwarded his mail to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. removing notice. -- eiland (talk) 08:19, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Eiland. Your effort to comply with copyright policy is appreciated. After the Wikimedia Foundation office has received and reviewed the e-mail, than an administrator or OTRS agent will remove the template. But the infringing text must remain blanked until permission for its use is confirmed. Thanks. CactusWriter (talk) 14:34, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
any idea what's the run through time of those tickets then? And funny, did you use my original draft for the Robin Wood (environmental organisation) recreation? Then I would appreciate a restoration of the history... -- eiland (talk) 16:47, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The OTRS office is often backlogged, but the tickets are usually processed within 7 days. Since the Robin Wood article is off-topic here, I'll respond on your talk page. CactusWriter (talk) 18:07, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

I propose to merge List of nuclear power groups into this articles as it is about the same topic. Beagel (talk) 07:01, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: page moved to List of companies in the nuclear sector per discussion and per the contents of the article. Although there may be no requirement for the title to have a "List of..." format, it is still a reasonable name, and an accurate description of the article's contents. It may be possible to write an article about the nuclear sector, and now that title is available for such an article. - GTBacchus(talk) 23:07, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nuclear sectorList of nuclear industries – This is a list and therefore, its name should be include correspondingly the word "list". Relisted. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 02:57, 2 August 2011 (UTC) Beagel (talk) 07:04, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
