株式会社 romanization[edit]

Do we want to standardize the romaji spelling of 株式会社? I see the following in the list:
- Kabushiki-gaisha
- Kabushiki Gaisha
- Kabushiki Kaisha

I am partial to Kabushiki-gaisha as that is the way it is pronounced in most cases. NipponBill 08:28, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's not really true as it depends greatly on where in Japan you are. In Hiroshima, for instance, I heard both very frequently. And companies ending in "KK" are obviously using the "Kaisha" for the last word. I think it's fine to have both ways. It may be good to link to Kabushiki kaisha at the top of the list for an explanation of the term. ···日本穣^{? · Talk to Nihonjoe} 17:03, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly. We can refer to the Nikkei 225 Constituents or TOPIX 17 series. The pachinko machine company SANKYO would not be confused with the pharma Daiichi Sankyo.

Also, TSE should be changed to Ticker symbol. Rakuten is listed on JASDAQ but not on TSE.--Shinkansen Fan (talk) 17:31, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
