Jimi Hendrix - cause of death[edit]

1. The article linked to in the footnotes dies not mention cause of death.

Maybe the article was changed since it was originally referenced.

2. There is a wikipedia page with much more info on his death Death_of_Jimi_Hendrix

Note - was going to use an external source, then discovered wikipedia page with lots more info, syntax of ref is probably not correct. Out of time, at the moment.

Suggested update (only line with Hendrix info, other stuff is formatting copied from page being discussed):

Name Age Date Location Cause of death
Jimi Hendrix
The Jimi Hendrix Experience
27 September 18, 1970 Kensington, London, England Asphyxia after taking sleeping pills[1]

Deaths in ROCK AND ROLL!?[edit]

This is a joke. Right? I stumbled across this page while researching deaths of rock and roll musicians from the 1970s and was flabbergasted to find ridiculous inclusions of such names as: Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Mahalia Jackson, Gene Krupa, Louis Jordan, Duke Ellington and Kid Ory!? You've got to be kidding! This is Rock and Roll! Janis Joplin! Elvis Presley! Jim Morrison! Maineartists (talk) 23:59, 6 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
