Table is becoming overlong[edit]

I'm in awe of the amount of information that has been added to this article recently, but the single table has expanded to epic length, and is becoming very hard to navigate on mobile devices. Perhaps it should be split into multiple tables. (I would do this myself but I've found from experience that I'm a truly lousy table editor.) Carguychris (talk) 16:57, 20 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Callsigns[edit]

Hi, having removed the Callsigns from the List of defunct airlines of the United States as unnecessary, redundant you'ld remove the callsigns from all the other List, otherwise it does not make sense. SincerelyChesipiero (talk) 16:37, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Chesipiero: I hope you don't mind that I moved this discussion to the article talk page. Which lists are you referring to? Thanks. Onetwothreeip (talk) 21:53, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Onetwothreeip: Obviously I am referring to all the List of defunct airlines. Chesipiero (talk) 16:47, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I support removing callsigns from those articles generally. Onetwothreeip (talk) 23:58, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Chesipiero, how come you have restored the callsigns to the article? Onetwothreeip (talk) 08:01, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting proposal[edit]

I propose that this article be split into List of defunct airlines of the United States (A–M) and List of defunct airlines of the United States (N–Z). This page is #1 at Special:LongPages. Numberguy6 (talk) 19:59, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I just split this article into these two parts now due to its big size. -- PK2 (talk) 03:47, 30 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
