Scope[edit]

Hi,
The list right now is light on the actual war years, and does not officially support/allow the prewar years.
Is it ok if I start to beef up those periods? This was one of my principal interest areas when I was a researcher for the IMDb a decade ago.

Actually, the propaganda films list has already done a very thorough job in those areas, so there is no need to duplicate that here.

Maybe that should be made more explicit, where the dividing line between this page and the propaganda page lies.

"Miscellaneous" directors[edit]

That phrasing seems rather disrespectful of people who are making serious movies on low budgets.
The World at War should not be treated in that fashion.
A better approach is to name one or two (salient) ones, and then et al. the remainder.
