Article title[edit]

The new title List of earthquakes in the Netherlands does not represent the content of the article better than the old title Earthquakes in the Netherlands. I suggest that the article is moved back. – Editør (talk) 11:57, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think that this one is a model for the rest of the list articles (by having a decent amount of prose describing the regional tectonics). The others will catch up in time. Dawnseeker2000 19:18, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You are reasoning from your desired outcome backwards. I still oppose the move. This article is not a list article and should not be named as such. – Editør (talk) 11:17, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

They're all lists. Dawnseeker2000 14:29, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The discussion here is about this article and the name doesn't represent the content. It is of no importance what the articles about other regions/countries are called. – Editør (talk) 13:56, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is extremely important. The move was intended to unify the title to align with the series. Wikipedia is no longer a floundering website where just about anything goes. Well, there's still some of that of course, but we're getting our act together now. Organized, refined, and polished. It makes sense to have things laid out in a way that's familiar and accessible so the reader isn't surprised by what they might find when they're looking for something. We want a uniform presentation across all aspects of the encyclopedia. That is why I've been making moves, section heading changes, categorization scheme alignments, and so on.
