Integration with IUCN Redlist latest version[edit]

Hi Shyamal, This is a very useful page. I wonder if the main reference (Rao et al. 2003) is the best source, though, as it is dated and appears to be based on the 1997 IUCN Redlist. Would it be useful to try and integrate with latest (ver 2.3, 3.1) IUCN redlist status? Worth attempting to merge the two lists keeping info such as region? @Shankar Raman: Thanks for the suggestion, I could not find a easy to convert source. I am happy if people can go through the two lists and merge them, I think the BSI publication has a slightly broader inclusion criteria which may actually be better than the IUCN list which tends to trim things down to a global perspective. Perhaps another column with IUCN status and version could be a half way approach? (In any case this is a bit beyond my expertise and I would be happy to leave this to others, I found some synonymies troubling like the Dendrobium arachnites being a synonym of Dendrobium dickasonii.) The BSI site is quite difficult to work with - perhaps this is nicer - https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/threatened/flora/india Shyamal (talk) 14:56, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
