Fort Lennox[edit]

The Fort Lennox listed under Ontario,Canada is in fact in Quebec

Taiwan[edit]

The forts in Taiwan should be listed under "Taiwan (Republic of China)" instead of "Republic of China (Taiwan )" because the "Republic of China" is of secondary importance, and is only linked because that is the location the country template. Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Chinese) prescribes these differences based on context, and context here calls for emphasizing Taiwan rather than Republic of China. These were European forts, not Chinese Nationalist forts. In addition, what's that extra space doing after Taiwan?--Jiang 21:48, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another issue is how Hong Kong and Macao should be listed. To my understanding this is a listing by country instead of sovereign state. — Insta ntnood 14:06, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kansas[edit]

There is lot of forts under Kansas that are not in Kansas. Going to move them to the proper place. Ok nevermind that the problem is the articles they link to are not the right forts. Ex: There is a Fort Clinton in Kansas and New York the one in Kansas shouldn't link to the one in New York.Kirbyroth (talk) 17:38, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

extant buildings only?[edit]

This is a very, very late reply, but there are several forts listed here that are ruined or are from ancient times, so I would assume the latter. TCMemoire (talk) 03:43, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Saksaywaman[edit]

Maybe Sacsayhuamán belongs in this list. Saksaywaman is a walled complex on the northern outskirts of the city of Cusco, Peru, the former capital of the Inca Empire. The complex is as many other Inca constructions made of large polished dry stone walls, each boulder carefully cut to fit together tightly without mortar.
