How in the world could the Southern Cross of Honor and the Confederate Medal of Honor (Sons of Confederate Veterans) be human rights awards[edit]

They were added by the article's creator but removed for obvious reasons. That's the problem with an unsourced list, it can be original research. Doug Weller talk 16:04, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Doug Weller: That was a mistake. But I see no problem with an unsourced list of articles, a sort of category on steroids. If the list had any entries that did not have an article, they would have to be sourced, but the intro tries to make it clear that the list is just an index to articles on notable awards. I think technically you're right. Doug Weller talk 16:41, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Southern Cross of Honor and the Confederate Medal of Honor (Sons of Confederate Veterans) were never included in this list. They were accidentally put into Category:Human rights awards, then removed from the category. The problem with categories is that there is no way to source them, so they can be original research.
