These kings are mythical. How can you put exact dates on their reigns? T@nn 18:44, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Later writers like Eusebius came up with those dates, as is mentioned in the article. Adam Bishop 06:34, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"King of Athens" should redirect to "Kings of Athens," and not vice versa. Franciscoh (talk) 23:34, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ogygus was a primeval Ancient Greek king, but not of Athens. Instead, he ruled Ectenes, which was located near where Thebes would later be located. Furthermore, Actaeus was the 1st King of Athens. It says so in the article about him. So, let's either strike Ogygus from this list or leave a not that he was not of Athens. -The Mysterious El Willstro 209.183.183.111 (talk) 08:54, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Castor's Dates are reasonable[edit]

Both Castor's list and dates are pretty good.He misses one generation for the "Sons of Metion". His average reign length is a little high, 28.6 Years per Generation (429/15), which adds up over too many generations, and to a "late" Troy. I prefer 23 Years per generation.

Manetho(Africanus) has the "Flood of Deucalion" occur around Thutumose 2, which adds a synchronization point.

Another synch point would be the return of the Heraclides, aligning to Agron, or Ninurta-apal-Ekur [1191-1179BC], around Thymoetes, which he has 70 years too late[1135-1127BC].
