30 th mayor[edit]

Ali Müfit Gürtuna's name appears twice in 29th and 30th positions .I don't think this is because he has been the mayor in two consequent terms. Because there are other names who have been in the office for more than one term. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 13:14, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lists of mayors for pre-First World War period[edit]

Only the more recent mayors of Istanbul are actually listed by name, Otherwise it just says there were 10 or 23 mayors in this period which doesn't seem adequate. For example, Cemal Topuzlu made important changes in Istanbul but he is not named in such summaries and so there is no clickable link to his name.
