Why so much focus on the order of admission?[edit]

The article page contains the following warning in front of the list:

<--DO NOT add blatantly false/invented orders of admission. If the order is unknown, leave the field blank. There are numerous NGOs admitted between 1947 and today which are lacking from the list. Newly admitted NGOs should not get an incorrect admission order. New entries should be added in the correct place in the list, according to year of admission, not inserted randomly at the bottom with a false order of admission number.-->

Why all the shouting? There are ten thousands organizations with the consultative status - how any one adding a new entry to the list is supposed to come up with its exact position in the order of admission, when even ECOSOC does not bother to maintain one? Listing the year of admission is more than enough. --89.178.3.153 (talk) 19:44, 17 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
