Mary Anning[edit]

Mary Anning is listed under "Politics and Government", she should be recorded under Scientists --jmb 21:10, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, jmb. I just moved her. Bcsurvivor 22:08, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adding to this list[edit]

Following are suggestions to new contributors:

  • Please accompany each entry with an external link to a reliable source.
  • Footnote a diagnosis if it takes more than three lines. Cite an additional reference if appropriate.
  • If you have trouble using table format, post to this talk page and ask for assistance.

Thank you very much for contributing and making this list more comprehensive, and thanks to the List of notable brain tumor patients for their excellent template and advice. Bcsurvivor 19:24, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Addition[edit]

You might like to add Jenni Murray, presenter of BBC Radio 4's long running programme Woman's Hour. She announced at the of this morning's programme that she will be taking a break because she has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. [1] --jmb 12:12, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Janette Howard is listed under 'Politics' as having been diagnosed with breast cancer, which is incorrect. She has been quoted as saying that she had cervical cancer. http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2006/s1766104.htm 202.173.131.24 12:06, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Should Heather Clarke (wife of Irish golfer and Ryder Cup champion Darren Clarke) be included in sport? She was diagnosed in 2001 and had a relapse in 2004 and passed away in August 2006?

Also, Peter Criss of KISS survived breast cancer. Here's the reference: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=128235. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.16.140.115 (talk) 04:55, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Helene Mayer[edit]

Helene Mayer, the German fencer, is given in some internet sources as dying of bon cancer but in Richard Cohen's By the Sword is it spinal cancer secondary to a primary breast cancer. Does anyone from the Breast Cancer angle have anything on this Epeeist smudge 08:13, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The external links on this article strike me as irrelevant to the topic at hand and generally linkspam. I will mark the list for now, but please comment if you have other opinions, otherwise I will most likely return and delete most of these links. -- Sfmammamia 23:41, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

date disparity[edit]

RE entry for "Hendrickje Stoffels (19?? - 19??) artist model and mistress of Dutch artist Rembrandt"

How could her dates be in the 1900s if she was the mistress of Rembrandt, whose dates are 1606 - 1669? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scrivener47 (talkcontribs) 09:15, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in List of people with breast cancer[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of people with breast cancer's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
