Mother of All Rallies?[edit]

Should Mother of All Rallies be mentioned here? ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:39, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Move page to "List of rallies for the Donald Trump presidential election campaign, 2020"[edit]

Donald Trump has stated his intention to run for re-election. His rallies since January 2016 have been refereed to by the Trump campaign and the media as part of his 2020 campaign. Why dosen't the title of the page reflect this?

Rallies without citations and links[edit]

There are a whole bunch of rallies on this page without links can anyone actually find some links for them? Tatsuslava —Preceding undated comment added 05:56, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Venue capacity and attendance[edit]

I think this list article would be improved if it included both the seating capacity of each venue and the actual attendance at each rally, as verified by the local fire department or relevant authority. It provides the proper historical context for assessing these events. Matuko (talk) 16:31, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Matuko, 100% agreed. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 20:04, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
NO, 1) seating capacity can falsely lead people to believe attendance is higher than reality (June 20 was a perfect example), 2) attendance is a "ballpark guess" that is not verifiable, 3) there has been abuse in the past of some editors linking to unreputable sources for attendance numbers. 4) I removed columns to prevent future abuse. • SbmeirowTalk • 23:19, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is this for official rallies only?[edit]

There have been lots of boat parades, caravans and other rallies that have sprung up around the country. Is there another list for those? If there is no section for them on this page, it should be marked as official only, imo. Kire1975 (talk) 17:57, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This would be the only page, so the unofficial ones could be included if they are sourced. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:39, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
But some of these could be better included at Demonstrations in support of Donald Trump. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:09, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Change in title[edit]

I moved this article to its new title because I initially thought it was an article about planned Trump rallies after the 2020 election. Now that he has participated in two General Elections, I think it needs to be more specific. Liz Read! Talk! 01:25, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea, there were plans earlier to name this more like pre-2020, but people lost interest. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:31, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think we need a whole new page altogether for 2024 rallies.
2016 has its own page
post 2016 has a page (this page
with 2024 campaign starting that should probably be a third page.

Separate page 2024 rallies[edit]

There should probably be a different 2024 rallies page

there is one for 2016 election and a separate for post 2016. 2024 is a new campaign though Mikemikem (talk) 15:51, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Trump Mar-a-Lago rally[edit]

Does Trump's speech at Mar-a-Lago count as a rally? See: [1]https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-returns-mar-lago-campaign-speech-arrest-rcna77979 FortUser (talk) 21:37, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

June 2023 Grimes IA event[edit]

That event was a meeting with campaign volunteers, not a rally. [1] RomanHannibal (talk) 22:03, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
