1895-1907[edit]

This list mixes up a few baseball grounds. It's understandable, the Internet doesn't have good sources currently.

Here are the parks:

YMCA Park / Athletic Park[edit]

From 1895-1903 a field at "13th and Jefferson" (actually bound by Cherry, Jefferson, 12th and 14th). This was built as Y.M.C.A. Park (there apparently was a nationwide effort by the YMCA to create athletic fields in the 1890s) in 1895, and served many purposes: bicycle race track, football field (for UW Huskies, YMCA, and Seattle Athletic Club), track & field events, and baseball. It also had special events like Ringling Brothers circus and other performances.

This was the first place that D. E. "Eddie" Dugdale fielded a team in Seattle

Teams that played here included the Rainmakers, Rainiers, Stars, and Clamdiggers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Roket (talkcontribs) 09:21, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Athletic Park[edit]

From 1903-1907, a field purpose-built By D. E. Dugdale for baseball at 5th and Republican.

Yesler Field / Athletic Park / Dugdale Park[edit]

From 1907-1913, a field purpose-built for baseball by D. E. Dugdale, bounded by Yesler, Fir, 12th and 13th. The field blocked parts of Fir and 12th (at least 12th in 1913 when it closed; the streets changed quite a bit at that time).

Dugdale Park[edit]

From 1913, Dugdale had a new purpose-built baseball field on Rainier Avenue.
