The word, "basin"[edit]

A basin is a vessel for holding water, not for shedding it. I'd prefer to see the term "watershed" used in favor of "drainage basin". Besides, the latter sounds rather filthy. 172.56.27.192 (talk) 03:10, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?[edit]

Oh, just saw the AfD nom from 2007. But that was when the other article was “Rivers of India” and this one a list. Now they’re both lists. UnpetitproleX (talk) 19:49, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
